Sustainable Transportation Week - Gatineau

Once again this year, Gatineau is celebrating Sustainable Transportation Week.

September 16

• Bike-Car-Bus Challenge: Ever wonder which was the fastest way to get to work? This is one way to find out. A friendly competition pitting three different travel options against one another to compare time and costs.
• Park(ing) day: Teams transform a plain old parking space into something playful and fun. 

September 17 to 18

• Districts' Rally: A competition between neighbourhoods in which participants discover a unique aspect of a neighbourhood – its restaurants, its history - by foot, bike or bus.

September 2:

• Car-Free Challenge: Employers compete to promote alternative modes of transportation to employees.
• Car Free Day: Gatineau asks its residents to leave their cars at home!
