Équiterre would like to thank a group of outstanding volunteers for their help in producing the English version of our website.
Kirstin Harris teaches English as a second language in Québec City and has a long list of credits in community involvement. When she noticed that the organization's website wasn't yet fully bilingual, she immediately volunteered her time. '' Thinking that the more accessible their message was the better, I thought it was something I could help with'', she said.
Andrea Neuhofer is a professional translator and a busy mother of two. She never misses an opportunity to lend a helping hand and generously offered to revise the translations.
Jacques Lalonde works both as a translator and webmaster. He is very interested in environmental issues. Recently, he organised a petition in support of Bill 390, whose aim is to ban the distribution of non-biodegradable plastic bags in the Province of Quebec. To find out more >>>
Myriam Lafrenière is a professional translator based in Montreal. She too is an ecologist at heart and feels that things are moving just too slowly in Québec. Her volunteer work is her contribution to bring about change.
Penni Jacques is also a professional translator based in the Eastern Townships. She often translates documents for charitable organizations.
Michelle Douglass is a writer for the Montreal Gazette and a strong supporter of Équiterre's mission.
