On September 21, you're invited to New York City to take part in the largest climate march in history.
The People's Climate March is being held in advance of a UN summit on the climate crisis. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is urging world leaders to support an ambitious global agreement to dramatically reduce global warming pollution.
Thousands of participants from around the world are expected in the city for the march. Together, we will ask our leaders to build a healthy future for the planet.
How to get there?
Equiterre is organizing transportation by bus from Montreal. Buy your tickets online.
A Facebook page has also been created to help organize ride-sharing.
In the meantime, sign the No to tar sands petition (now available in English). More than 40,000 signatures have been collected on the French version!
Looking forward to seeing you in New York City on September 21!
