A couple of years ago, family farmer Jean-Martin Fortier, whose Eastern Townships microfarm, Les Jardins de la Grelinette, has been hailed, at home and abroad, as a model of its form, wrote a book, Le Jardinier Maraîcher, sharing his secrets with aspiring organic farmers, amateur and professional alike.
