Equiterre and the Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins are pleased to announce the launch of the 7th edition of the Laure Waridel bursary. Once again, this year, a $10,000 prize will go to a student or recent graduate for a research, action and dissemination project in the field of the environment and social justice.
This year, the selection committee will give priority to four themes that are a direct reflection of Equiterre's Strategic plan 2013-2016. More than ever before, the Laure Waridel bursary will contribute to achieving our goals.
The themes are:
- impact of transporting crude oil from the tar sands
- electrification of collective and individual transportation
- impact of pesticides on human and environmental health
- communications strategy for promoting fair trade in Quebec
Students enrolled in a BA or MA program at a Quebec university have until December 15, 2014 to send their applications by email or by post. Check the eligibility conditions and apply!
We look forward to discovering your projects.
