Karl-Eric Tchatchoua Fomen
Accounting Analyst
A native of Cameroon, Karl-Éric began his career in accounting by earning a bachelor’s degree in Cameroon before continuing his studies in Quebec. He then earned a master’s degree in accounting, control, and auditing from the Université du Québec à Montréal, which allowed him to consolidate his knowledge and develop a more analytical approach to accounting.
Karl-Éric joined Équiterre in August 2026 with the desire to put his skills to work for an organization whose mission and values resonated with him, while continuing his professional development in a new environment.
As an accounting analyst, his role involves monitoring and analyzing financial data related to various projects and funders. On a daily basis, he juggles multiple projects to understand their specific characteristics and help ensure that team members have access to reliable and consistent financial information.
