Black Oil for Nuit Blanche

Actu - Black Oil for Nuit Blanche

Équiterre invites you to a big oil spill for Montreal’s Nuit Blanche. This year, Équiterre and our partners have put together a particularly explosive evening where you can discuss oil projects while sipping black cocktails. On February 28, at 8:00 p.m., the Centre for Sustainable Development is the place to be!

Activities

  • Come and see the unveiling of the exhibition “Along the Pipeline” by activist artist Robert Van Waarden.
  • Stop by the Black Bar and savour one of our oil cocktails—Wintry Athasbasca or maybe Suffield Fizz—and some bitumen bites served by none other than Steven Guilbeault!
  • Explore the Équiterre pumping station in the middle of a model pipeline and discuss the environmental and social issues surrounding oil projects and tar sands. • Don’t miss the reservoir of surprises!

Free glass of fuel!
Here’s a challenge! Get a FREE oil cocktail in exchange for 30 Say No to Tar Sands signatures (nonauxsablesbitumineux.org).
