The Laure Waridel bursary helps bring farming, the environment and nutrition to Quebec schools

École-O-Champ, the 2016 bursary winner’s research-action-dissemination project, has just launched a contest for Quebec schools to promote and strengthen sustainable farming, environment and nutrition education.

Schools are invited to carry out various educational activities with students using three École-O-Champ learning packages and accumulate as many ‘carbon points’ as possible.

To enter the contest, you just have to carry out activities proposed in the packages in your classroom or school and make them public. Please post your initiatives on the École-O-champ Facebook page by May 31, 2017.

École-O-Champ is a program committed to teaching and promoting innovative agricultural, food and environmental sciences in Quebec schools. The educational kits are a treasure trove of local sustainable farming resources and help students become aware of the impact they can have on their environment.
