Give the kids at your school the chance to develop a taste for cooking and healthy food!

Recipe for Successful Cooking Workshops is a new, free practical guide to organizing cooking initiatives in schools.

Available in electronic or print form, this practical guide aims to encourage and facilitate the implementation of effective cooking workshops. It provides tips and practical advice on planning, organizing and running cooking activities for teachers and educators, and provides the tools to measure success.

While designed with school daycares in mind, the guide can be adapted for use by others in the primary school environment (ex: by teachers in the classroom) or in other settings (ex: community organizations, educational childcare centres, etc.).

This guide was developed through the collaboration of several partners: Équiterre, Commission scolaire de Montréal (CSDM), Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) and the Direction régionale de santé publique de Montréal, as part of the Schools Take Root project.
