Interested in the issues being raised at the 21st United Nations Conference of Parties (COP21) on Climate Change in Paris from November 30 to December 11? Don’t miss the panel discussion at the Centre for Sustainable Development at 12:15 on September 15. Moderator Steven Guilbeault will be talking to a number of climate change experts. It’s a must! You’ll get the facts about Quebec’s and Canada’s role in the conference and learn more about GHG reduction goals.

After the failure of the Copenhagen summit in 2009, the eyes of the world will be on the City of Light when 195 developed, emerging and developing nations must reach a universal, binding agreement to fight climate change. Will the Paris conference be up to the challenge of a much-needed climate revolution?

The Centre for Sustainable Development would like to invite you to attend a video conference with Steven Guilbeault and NGO representatives from Quebec and Canada—live from COP21 in Paris—on December 7, from 12:15 to 13:30.

The international climate negotiations will be in their final stages, so it will be a unique opportunity to interact with key stakeholders, get feedback on negotiation progress, find out about COP21 side events and ask questions.
