If the National Energy Board okays the reversal of the section of the Line 9 pipeline between North Westover, Ontario and Montreal, then tar sands oil could soon flow through the following regions of Quebec: Montérégie, the lower Laurentians, Lanaudière, Laval, Montreal and the Eastern Townships.
To help you assess the risk to your community, we have joined forces with Environmental Defence, the Comité environnement St-Césaire and 350.org to make an interactive map of all proposed pipeline reversals in Ontario, Quebec and New England.
The map shows:
- the location of past spills
- nearby waterways
- sources of drinking water
- local citizens groups
You can improve the map:

- share information on events in your area
- tell us what your community is doing
