Following a legal challenge by Équiterre and the David Suzuki Foundation in 2013, the Federal Court has issued a ruling that will force the Canadian government to conduct a special review of any pesticide that European countries have banned for health or environmental reasons, including more than 350 pesticides containing active ingredients that are banned in Europe and still used in Canada.

Read the press release to learn more about this great victory.

One of the pesticides to be reviewed is atrazine, which has been banned in Europe for more than 10 years and is still used in Canada. Click here to sign our petition calling for a ban on this dangerous pesticide.
