Isabelle Joncas

Project Manager, Sustainable Mobility

In 2025, Isabelle Joncas celebrated 25 years of service at Équiterre. She embodies the human and social values at the heart of the organization’s mission and became the very first employee to be named an honorary member.

Trained as an agronomist, Isabelle played a central role in the development of the Family Farmers’ Network for more than 15 years. She contributed to its expansion, supported numerous producers, and promoted the spread of the organic farm-to-table model throughout Quebec. Now well-established and self-sufficient, this network is a testament to the dedicated work she has put into it, enabling thousands of Quebec families to have access to healthier food.

In recent years, Isabelle has been working in the field of sustainable mobility. In particular, she coordinated the education and awareness campaign on electric vehicles as well as the Human-Scale Transportation campaign—two major projects that reflect her ongoing commitment to a more environmentally friendly and equitable society. She is currently working on both the Student Mobilization to Shop Smarter, Eat Better campaign on college campuses and on sustainable mobility initiatives.

Through her thoroughness, organizational skills, kindness, and dedication to Équiterre’s mission, Isabelle Joncas is leaving a lasting mark on the organization.
