Recommendations for the federal budget 2024

Équiterre and its partners have submitted recommendations to the federal government to help prepare for its next budget. The proposed measures will help Canada fight the climate crisis, help communities adapt to the consequences of climate change, support workers and certain economic sectors with the energy transition, and help make life more affordable for families.

Équiterre submitted its recommendations to the Standing Committee on Finance's Pre-Budget Consultations on August 3, 2023. The Green Budget Coalition, of which Équiterre is a member, also submitted its recommendations to the consultation on August 4, 2023.
