Follow Équiterre at COP23, November 6-17 in Bonn, Germany, which will bring together nearly 20,000 participants from more than 180 countries around the fight against climate change, one of the major challenges of our era.
"This dialogue initiated by the Conferences of the Parties (COP) is aimed precisely at increasing the level of ambition of the signatory countries of the Paris Agreement, and it is in Bonn that this ambition must begin", according to Steven Guilbeault, Senior Director of Équiterre. Our team has been following the Conferences of the Parties (COP) since their
inception in 1995. We will be taking part in the Bonn conference and providing
coverage of this “ambitious COP” from four angles on climate change: scientific
vantage point, Canada’s position, the issue of adaptation and finally, solutions.
