Quebec fair trade association, the Association québécoise du commerce équitable (AQCE), has declared a fair trade focus for each month of the coming year:
- October – cocoa and sugar for Halloween
- November – tea
- December – wine and spirits for the holidays
- January – cosmetics – moisturizer, anyone?
- February – crafts – gifts for Valentine's Day
- March – grains – an energy boost
- April – oils and spices
- May – Fair Trade Fortnight
- June – flowers for Father's Day
- July – cotton – moving? getting married?
- August – fruit
- September – coffee to kickstart your fall
