Équiterre will be in Paris for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) until December 11. Leaders, heads of state and civil society representatives from 195 countries will come together to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets. Governments will also have the opportunity to renew their political commitments.

Now that the climate change issues facing us have been acknowledged, what can we expect from this international conference? To keep you informed, the Équiterre delegation will provide regular updates on the formal negotiations as well as the various side events.

You can also attend a videoconference live from Paris with Steven Guilbeault and David Heurtel, the Minister of Sustainable Development, the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change. It will be broadcast at the Centre for Sustainable Development in Montreal on December 9, at 12:00 noon.
