If you are in Montreal or Quebec City this summer, you may be approached by one of these people in an orange vest and encouraged to become a member or donor of Equiterre. Our work as a force for social and environmental good depends on the financial support of concerned citizens like you.
Our crew in orange will gladly tell you about some of what our members and donors have accomplished through us, including:
- building a green building discovery centre
- bringing local fruits and vegetables into schools and hospitals
- gathering 50,000 people in downtown Montreal for a walk in support of a world free of fossil fuels - wow!
Our members and donors have accomplished a lot, but there is so much more to do.

- connect daycares with local farmers
- secure improvements to Quebec's Pesticides Management Code
- keep tar sands crude out of Quebec... again and again
- educate Montrealers about the importance of eating local
