Meet François Tanguay, organic farming advocate

Actu - À lire François Tanguay grand défenseur du bio

Authenticity in every basket, that's how idée BIO! magazine describes the work of family farmer François Tanguay, co-owner of Les Jardins du petit tremble in the Montérégie.

Find out how this product of a suburban childhood became a proponent of organic agriculture. According to the article, some of the credit for François's love of nature must go to his father, who kept a garden and even tended sheep at their family home in Saint-Léonard.

We are proud to have François represent our community supported agriculture (CSA) network, and to point out that organic farming:

  • promotes healthy eating
  • protects our resources and the environment

An excellent article about an interesting man. (in French only, on stands now)

P.S. Idée BIO! magazine helps small producers in Quebec, to the tune of $1 per subscription.
