The greatly anticipated opportunity to run for the environment, Change the World with Équiterre run—is (almost) here! On July 3, several hundred of you will be gathering at the starting line on Mount Royal for the 10 km, 5 km and 1 km runs.
Haven’t signed up yet? No problem. You can do it on the big day. Go to the Beaver Lake pavilion on Mount Royal (2000 Remembrance Road) at 7:30 in the morning. You can pay by cash or credit card.
In case you didn’t know, this is your chance to take part in the greenest run of the year: a 100% environmentally responsible run! Organizing it was quite an adventure. It had us occasionally reinventing the wheel, asking ourselves all sorts of questions about the materials used, the suppliers of goods and services—every aspect, really. Our goal was to organize a one-of-a-kind benefit where fun and environmental awareness go hand in hand.
