In the midst of the waste crisis and the cost-of-living crisis, companies are destroying brand-new merchandise, because it's easier than trying to give them away or find a use for them.
We're all struggling, and we've reached the limits of our resources. It's unacceptable to destroy goods that are still functional and useful. It should be illegal, period.
Every support will further our targeted campaign against companies that destroy their unsold stock and the government that encourages it. Each threshold crossed triggers concrete action:
The more of us there are, the more pressure they can't ignore.
At 2,000 supports: we demand accountability
At 5,000 supports: we publicly denounce
At 8,000 supports: we call for a ban on this practice.
