La marmite éducative virtual platform is a vast repertoire of teaching tools and professional services pertaining to healthy, local and environmentally responsible food, for youth aged 0 to 17
Many organizations have been working over the years to develop activities and tools to encourage healthy, local and environmentally responsible food among our youth.
La marmite éducative brings together this vast array of educational tools and professional services in order to promote them and make them available in a central location for those working with young people aged 0 to 17 in early childhood settings, schools, summer camps and youth activities.
Food is a central theme in the evolution of our society, in improving the health of our communities and in fighting climate change. Through education, La marmite éducative aims to accelerate the adoption of healthy eating habits from an early age.

Developed by Équiterre in cooperation with the Table québécoise sur la saine alimentation (TQSA), La marmite éducative brings together a broad range of educational tools and professional services in sustainable food for those working with young Quebecers from 0 to 17 in early childhood education, schools, summer camps and youth activities.
La marmite éducative provides reliable and credible educational tools about healthy, local and environmentally responsible food from various organizations. It seeks to encourage food education initiatives, to mobilize stakeholders and to showcase the collective work done by many organizations to educate young people about healthy eating.
Through this initiative, food education in Quebec's early childhood settings, schools, summer camps and youth activities has been strengthened.

Lancée en février 2024, « Ma zone marmite » est une interface qui donne accès à : des formations, des activités de financement, des services d'accompagnement et des opportunités de s'impliquer; des alertes personnalisées pour être avisé des nouvelles ressources disponibles; et à un espace de gestion de ses outils préférés.
The platform now has more than 500 educational tools and services that are easily accessible to those who work with youth. Now the challenge is to create awareness among as many people as possible and to ensure that youth workers are mobilized to make healthy and sustainable food a key issue!
To the delight of our many partners, is launched!
A comprehensive inventory of food education tools in Quebec is produced, to be analyzed and approved by a validation committee.
Following extensive consultations with key players in education, health, food and youth, a food education platform is drafted.
