Hardly the ideal companion! Atrazine is a pesticide that has been banned in the European Union for over a decade but is still widely used in Canada, particularly in cornfields. This dangerous pesticide is being reassessed by the federal government, and officials are currently recommending reapproval.

ATRAZINE IS EVERYWHERE AND HAS NUMEROUS IMPACTS

Unfortunately, atrazine is present everywhere in the environment and affects numerous summer activities, including picnicking on the grass on a sunny day. Children are the most vulnerable to atrazine exposure because of the endocrine system’s effect on development.

Help us gather as many signatures as possible to convince the government to ban this dangerous pesticide once and for all.

I’m taking action and calling on the federal government to protect the people and ban atrazine. Click here for more information.
