Since 1993, Quebec-based nonprofit Equiterre has worked on environmental and social issues affecting all Canadians, including climate change, food sovereigntyand dependency on oil.

- our new shared headquarters, the Centre for Sustainable Development, a demonstration certified LEED platinum green building, slated to open this fall on St. Catherine Street in downtown Montreal
- our community supported agriculture (CSA) network, the largest of its kind in the world, which provides food to an estimated more than 30,000 people a year
- the Défi Climat climate challenge, Quebec's most comprehensive awareness and mobilization campaign in the fight against climate change, co-organized with 21 partners
