Actu - Un fermier de famille publie un recueil de nouvelles

With the release of his French-language collection, Les nouvelles du Vallon, Outaouais family farmer Michel Massuard takes on a new role, that of published author.

Owner since 2001 with partner, Monique Laroche, of Le Vallon des Sources, a farm in Rippon, Massuard provides more than 300 families with organic produce.

A nature lover and early-morning poet, Massuard gives us in this collection slices of life, moods, memories and reflections on life's most joyful and most difficult moments.

Written over the years for the shareholders in his organic farm, Massuard's writing takes us behind the scenes: "Each piece of land is different. Slowly, like a lady, she reveals herself. We must not rush things, but be careful, listen, get to know her, observe the signs she gives, and let her tame us." (translation ours)
