October is a Farm to School Month in Canada. You can celebrate this month by sending us your students' artwork - a hand drawn picture, poem or a recipe - between October 1st to 31st to win great prizes. This year, we are pleased to announce that the grand prize is a $2000 school garden grant contributed by the Whole Kids Foundation.
Farm to School celebrations can occur in the school garden, cafeteria, or classroom. They can also occur in the community — on a farm, at the market, or at the shore.
