On July 2, join us at the Centre for Sustainable Development to celebrate the first organic basket delivery of the season.
Chefs from La Récolte - Espace local will give a cooking demonstration featuring vegetables from an organic basket from Coq à l'Âne farm. You can also meet with the farmer or ask a member of our team about our family farmer network.
Enjoy:
- fair trade Camino chocolate samples
- tasty lemonade from Bistro Marius
- cheese from local fromagerie Le ruban bleu
The Éco-quartier Saint-Jacques de l'Association sportive et communautaire du Centre-sud will also give a workshop on home composting and vermicomposting techniques.
Musical trio, Julie Perron, Raphael Mendoza and Nico Maupeu, who met through Étoiles du métro, will delight you with live folk, pop and jazz music from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Where? In parc Hydro-Québec, adjacent to the Centre for Sustainable Development (better known by its official name, Maison du développement durable), 50 Ste-Catherine St. West, Montreal. In case of rain, the event will move indoors, to the Atrium of the Centre for Sustainable Development.
