Some of the family farmers in Equiterre's community supported agriculture (CSA) network deliver organic baskets in the winter, too.
From November to March, participating family farmers deliver winter baskets to more than 175 drop-off points in the following regions:
- Capitale-Nationale (Quebec City)
- Centre-du-Québec
- Chaudière-Appalaches
- Eastern Townships
- Lanaudière
- Laurentians
- Laval
- Mauricie
- Montérégie
- Montreal
- Outaouais
Winter baskets contain such roots and tubers as:
- garlic
- onions
- carrots
- parsnips
- potatoes
- squash
- leeks
- rutabagas
- Jerusalem artichokes
Organic meat is also available for order year-round from some of our CSA farms.
And some of our family farmers also sell "little extras" at their drop-off points, such as:
- eggs
- bread
- cheese
