Anne-Lise Koessler

With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Université Laval) and a master’s degree in environmental management (Université de Sherbrooke), Anne-Lise has built a career spanning more than 20 years of project management experience in the software development and environmental projects sectors.
Seeking to align her career with her values, she embarked on a career change five years ago to place people and the environment at the heart of her work. Her goal: to move away from the purely technological sector to put her skills to work for society and provide concrete solutions to social and environmental challenges.
In June 2026, this desire to make an impact led her to Équiterre, where she now works as a sustainable food project manager. There, she combines her rigorous project management skills with her environmental expertise to drive initiatives that promote food systems that are more local, eco-friendly, and health-conscious.
